Sergey began his culinary career as a chef in 2000 and later became the visionary behind Sumosan, a renowned Japanese restaurant.

In 2012, he founded The Markets Group, which encompasses several notable London establishments, including Bisushima, recognized in the Michelin Guide. His portfolio also comprises The Crystal Palace Market, The World’s End Market, The Wine and Oyster Bar, Smoked Bone, and The Old Fashioned Bar.

In 2022, Sergey decided to shift his focus towards the realm of culinary technology and co-founded Nova Chef, leveraging his experience to drive innovation in the culinary field

DANAT ABDRAKHMANOV

Danat started his career in Boston, Massachusetts at Eaton Vance, a top 10 Investment Management firms in the US after university. Having grown through the ranks he moved to London in 2012 to lead their Global Macro team of analysts in UK.

He was appointed Fund Manager of Global Macro Absolute Return and Emerging Markets Local Income funds in 2016. In 2020 the firm was acquired by Morgan Stanley which doubled their Investment Management business to become the world’s largest asset management firm globally.

In 2022 Danat left to start a FoodTech business that is today known as Nova Chef.
