Nova Chef, a catering solution founded by restaurateur Sergey Men and investment executive Danat Abdrakhmanov, has marked a milestone in its growth journey with its 50th hotel catering deal.
These include contracts with Hampton by Hilton London Croydon and Holiday Inn York City Centre.
Set up in 2022, Nova Chef has reached this landmark through the delivery of high quality, chef prepared meals to a range of venues that have struggled to staff their kitchens, or would historically have outsourced its catering.
By tackling one of the most significant issues facing the hospitality industry – the recruitment of chefs – Nova Chef is helping to keep kitchens open and is improving the financial viability of its partner sites.
The restaurant-quality dishes are crafted using top-tier natural ingredients with no preservatives.
They offer kitchens a hassle-free food solution that delivers over 65% gross profit while significantly reducing payroll costs – all without compromising on the dining experience.
The deals with Hampton by Hilton in Croydon and Holiday Inn in York mean the hotels can better cater to their combined 220 rooms, be it during the day or even room service at night, as well as for their extensive meeting facilities and events.
Sergey Men, co-founder at Nova Chef, said: “We set up Nova Chef because we saw first-hand how challenging the jobs market is in hospitality, and now thanks to our solution more than 50 hotels in the UK are able to keep their kitchens open and provide food for their customers.
“This isn’t just about that though; the quality is key, and our innovative practices mean chef-made meals for more people, so diners simply don’t notice the difference and venues can continue to monetise a catering offer.
“Partnering with hotels of the calibre of Hampton by Hilton in Croydon and the York Holiday Inn only emboldens us to take the Nova Chef brand even further, and we think there’s no limit to how far we can go.”
Clayton Bastian, cluster general manager of Hampton by Hilton London Croydon and Holiday Inn York City Centre, added: “Nova Chef is delivering a quality solution to an industry-wide problem, enabling businesses like ours to maintain a great food offer that does not compromise on taste for customers.
“It’s been a game-changer, helping us to reduce costs, operate a more efficient kitchen, cut food waste, and strive for better for our guests, raising the bar for what we provide.”
While offering an easy, high-quality catering solution, Nova Chef also uses zero-plastic packaging and focuses on reducing waste.
All Nova Chef dishes have at least a three-month shelf life.
